The New Zealand cricket board has switched the venues of the Twenty20 matches to be played between England and New Zeland during the formers visit to New Zealand in February 2008.
The two Twenty20 matches were scheduled to be played in Christchurch on February 5 andĀ at Auckland the Twenty20 on February 7 originally. Now the Venues will be switched between them without any change in the dates.
Peter Dwan, NZC’s commercial managerĀ said “By making the switch Christchurch audiences will have the opportunity to both attend Classical Sparks and a Twenty20 match against England. We acknowledge that this change may cause inconvenience to some England supporters which we, of course, regret. We are working to minimise disruption to those affected.”
