Indian Premier League (IPL) announced a new list of recruits which includes South Africans Jacques Kallis, Makhaya Ntini and Mark Boucher, along with West Indies duo Ramnaresh Sarwan and Chris Gayle.
With the latest additions the international players pool at IPL swells close to 50. The league was launched by the BCCI to counter the ESSEL Groups “rebel” Indian Cricket League (ICL), which is due to start end November. The IPL is scheduled to start in April 2008. The League will consist of eight teams and will last 44 days.
